Honor Flight veterans who were told they could not visit the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. because of the government shutdown knocked over the barricades erected by the National Parks Service on Tuesday to gain entry to the grounds.
The Honor flight network is dedicated to annually transporting World War II veterans from around the country to the memorial in Washington, D.C.
