Democrats Cite George W. Bush to Whitewash Radical Islam,, What The Hell Obama Democrats Blame Bush For Ever Thing And Now Hillary Clinton Put It, “George W. Bush Was Right?

Barack Obama, under pressure to be more aggressive on terrorism, regularly cites his predecessor’s refusal to demonize Muslims or play into the notion of a clash between Islam and the West. It’s a striking endorsement from a president whose political rise was predicated on opposition to the Iraq war and Bush’s hawkish approach in the Middle East.
As Hillary Clinton put it, “George W. Bush was right.”
Laying out her plan to fight domestic terrorism, Clinton reminded voters in Minneapolis earlier this month of Bush’s visit to a Muslim center six days after the Sept. 11 attacks. She even quoted his words from that day about those who intimidate Muslim-Americans: “They represent the worst of humankind, and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior.”
Bush, of course, was not referring to the 2016 Republican presidential field. Clinton certainly was.
Donald Trump has called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S. – then enjoyed a bump in the polls. Ben Carson deems traditional Muslims unfit for the presidency.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)
79%
warns of a “civilizational struggle against radical, apocalyptic Islam,” making a distinction, at least, between ordinary Muslims and extremists.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
97%
berates Clinton and Obama incessantly for refusing to declare war on “radical Islamic terrorism.”

Clinton and Obama argue that rhetoric just helps the Islamic State group and likeminded extremists, whose recruitment pitch is based on the narrative of an apocalyptic battle between Islam and the West. The Democrats warned that proposals like Trump’s Muslim ban jeopardize national security, drawing a contrast with Bush.
“I was very proud after 9/11 when he was adamant and clear about the fact that this is not a war on Islam,” Obama said recently. His message to today’s Republican leaders: “They should follow his example. It was the right one. It was the right impulse.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
16%
, Clinton’s top challenger for the Democratic nomination, visited a mosque this month in a show of solidarity that evoked Bush’s after 9/11. And the Democratic National Committee released an ad contrasting comments by the 2016 GOP contenders with footage of Bush declaring that “Islam is peace.”

All of that marks a rare departure for a party that has spent the last decade slamming the former president – to much electoral success. After all, even many of the Republican candidates, even if in retrospect, have criticized the war in Iraq, where Islamic State militants now control part of the country and are seeking to export terrorism around the world.
But Bush’s example has become particularly poignant for Democrats following recent terrorist attacks in Paris and California that have left people more preoccupied with terrorism than at any time since 9/11. Both Clinton and Obama have sought to deflect the critique that they’re too soft on the domestic terrorism threat.
“There weren’t a lot of policy decisions that I agreed with George W. Bush on, but I was never going to call him weak on terror,” said Mo Elleithee, a longtime Democratic Party official who now runs Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service.
Not all Republican candidates have been as harsh about Muslims as Trump has been. Jeb Bush has joined his GOP challengers in describing the enemy as “radical Islamic terrorism.” But he’s also said the U.S. should follow his brother’s lead, arguing in the last GOP debate that “we can’t dissociate ourselves from peace-loving Muslims.”
During the 2001 mosque visit, one of several occasions Bush denounced anti-Muslim bias, he stood alongside Muslim leaders and quoted the Quran about evil-doers being ultimately defeated. He insisted that intimidation against Muslims in America would not stand.
“The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam,” Bush said.
The former president has stayed mostly silent throughout the recent debate. His spokesman, Freddy Ford, recently said Bush wouldn’t comment on “Trump’s bluster” but repeated Bush’s insistence that “true Islam is peaceful.” Ford declined to discuss what Bush thinks about Democrats quoting him now.
Muslim groups have called on Obama to follow Bush’s example by visiting a mosque, a move that would be risky for a president who has faced longstanding but false claims that he is a Muslim. White House officials didn’t rule out the possibility Obama would visit a mosque, but said there were no imminent plans to do so.
“Bush sent a very powerful message to the world and American Muslims that backlash and attacks on this faith community will not be tolerated,” said Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “We would hope President Obama would make a similar gesture.”

Barack Obama used tough talk at the Pentagon to warn Islamic State leaders of their defeat.
“As we squeeze its heart, we will make it harder for ISIL to pump the propaganda to the rest of the world,” Obama said after a meeting with his National Security Council. “This fall, even before the revolting attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, I ordered new actions to intensify our war against ISIL. These actions including more firepower and special operations forces are well under way.”
Obama said there were 9,000 strikes against the terror group as of Monday. He said that European allies are stepping up and that the U.S. is seeking more support from Middle East allies. Obama announced that Defense Secretary Ash Carter will travel to the Middle East to talk to allies there.

ISIL is dug in in, including in urban areas, and they hide behind the civilians, and using men, women and children as human shields,” Obama said. “So even as we are relentless, we have to be smart and target ISIL with surgical precision.
“More people are seeing ISIL for the thieves and the thugs they are,” Obama said. He added,”The point is that they cannot hide, and the next message to them is simple: You are next. Everyday we destroy every one of their weapons, bomb-making fac factory, and compounds and training camps.”
The Republican National Committee criticized the speech.
“This politically motivated photo-op won’t do a thing to protect the American people from another attack,” RNC spokesman Michael Short. “We need a new strategy to defeat ISIS and keep America safe from radical Islamic terrorists, not a new public relations campaign to protect President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers.”

Power Grab: Obama's Dangerous Plan for a One-Party Nation

New York Times best-selling authors Dick Morris and Eileen McGann, in their upcoming release by Humanix Books, contend that President Obama is at war with the Constitution and its provisions that provide for
checks and balances.

President Obama s style of leadership is proof that he is willing to use desperate measures. InPower Grab, Morris and McGann assert that Obama has embarked on an outrageous and sweeping scheme to decisively and illegally grab power away from Congress, the Courts, and the States to appropriate it to himself.

Ultimately, under the guise of practicality, the President of the United States has become utterly intolerant and unquestionably dictatorial. He rules on his own by executive fiat and few, if any, in Congress protest.

A former presidential advisor to Bill Clinton, Dick Morris argues that Obama has gone well beyond any previous president in extending executive power. He has defied the will of our forefathers, stepped over states rights, and systematically brushed aside explicit laws with little outrage from other branches of government.

In Power Grab, Morris and McGann say that Obama has grown even more bold in his acquisition of power after seeing so little opposition. And he has no plans to stop anytime soon, as the authors flawlessly illustrate in their in-depth analysis of his increasingly brazen behavior.

Morris and McGann lay out a plan to stop Obama s abuse of power. They say President Obama s critics, and even those who sympathize with his political views but share a deep respect for the Constitution, can join together to stop the most significant, overreaching executive power ever.

Power Grab is sure to leave the reader without any doubt as to just how pervasive his usurpation of Congressional power has become.

“If we were to let cynicism consume us, and fear overwhelm us, if we lost hope, for however slow, however incomplete, however harshly, loudly, rudely challenged at each point along our journey, in America we can create the change that we seek,” Obama said. “All it requires is that our generation be willing to do what those who came before us have done, to rise above the cynicism, rise above the fear, to hold fast to our values, to see ourselves in each other, to cherish dignity and opportunity not just for our own children, but for somebody else’s child. To remember that our freedom is bound up with the freedom of others, regardless of what they looked like or where they come from or what their last name is or what faith they practice.”
Obama appeared to put extra emphasis on “what faith they practice,” and numerous members of Congress interrupted his comments with a standing ovation.
Trump called this week for a temporary ban on Muslim immigrants from entering the United States. On Tuesday, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the policy proposal “disqualified” Trump from holding the office of the presidency.
Asked about the comment during the Wednesday press briefing, Earnest said, “I would not wave you off consideration of the idea that it stands in contrast to the rhetoric you hear from a variety of Republican candidates.”
However, Earnest added, “I would contest the notion that this is something the president newly inserted in his remarks aimed at one individual.”

Tune IN: As Obama Lies Addressing Nation About San Bernardino Terror Attack

Obama will deliver an Oval Office address to the country about what the federal government is doing to keep Americans safe following the deadly San Bernardino, Calif., terror attack.
This will be the third televised Oval Office address of Obama's presidency, and his first in more than five years.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest released the follow statement:
On Sunday, December 6th at 8:00PM EST, President Obama will address the nation from the Oval Office about the steps our government is taking to fulfill his highest priority: keeping the American people safe. The President will provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the tragic attack in San Bernardino. The President will also discuss the broader threat of terrorism, including the nature of the threat, how it has evolved, and how we will defeat it. He will reiterate his firm conviction that ISIL will be destroyed and that the United States must draw upon our values – our unwavering commitment to justice, equality and freedom – to prevail over terrorist groups that use violence to advance a destructive ideology.

Obama stunned Americans and French alike with his false claims about gun violence in America. "I say this every time we’ve got one of these mass shootings. This just doesn’t happen in other countries,” claimed Obama. It is a claim that he has continually repeated over the years.
Talk about being self-absorbed.
The French have witnessed three mass public shootings this year. January saw two attacks, one on the Charlie Hebdo magazine and another on a Paris supermarket.
In the November attacks, 129 people were killed and 352 were injured. In just 2015, France suffered more casualties – killings and injuries – from mass public shootings than the U.S. has suffered during Obama’s entire presidency (508 to 424). This number includes the San Bernandino massacre on Wednesday.
In just 2015, France suffered more casualties – killings and injuries – from mass public shootings than the U.S. has suffered during Obama’s entire presidency (508 to 424). This number includes the San Bernandino massacre on Wednesday.
Obama also overlooks Norway, where Anders Behring Breivik used a gun to kill 67 people and wound 110 others. Still others were killed by bombs that Breivik detonated.  Of the four worst K-12 school shootings, three have occurred in Europe. Germany had two of these — one in 2002 at Erfut and another in 2009 at Winnenden, with a total death toll of 34.
Obama isn’t correct even if he meant the frequency of fatalities or attacks. Many European countries actually have higher rates of death from public shootings that resulted in four or more murders. It’s simply a matter of adjusting for America’s much larger population.
Let’s look at mass public shootings from 2009 to the middle of June this year. To compare fairly with American shootings, I excluded attacks that might be better classified as struggles over sovereignty. For instance, I did not count the 22 people killed in the Macedonian town of Kumanovo last month.
Norway had the highest annual death rate, with 2 mass public shooting fatalities per million people. Macedonia had a rate of 0.38, Serbia 0.28, Slovakia 0.20, Finland 0.14, Belgium 0.14, and the Czech Republic 0.13.  The US comes in No. 8 with 0.095 mass public shooting fatalities per million people. Austria and Switzerland are close behind.
In terms of the frequency of attacks, the United States ranks ninth, with 0.09 attacks per million people.  Macedonia, Serbia, Switzerland, Norway, Slovakia, Finland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic all had higher rates.
There are two other studies on these questions that have gotten a fair amount of attention.
One, by State University of New York-Oswego public justice professor Jaclyn Schildkraut and Texas State University researcher H. Jaymi Elsass, who look at shootings across countries, has left out a large number of shootings in other countries.
Yet, despite the extensive news coverage their study has received, they miss a lot of cases.  For example, in France, they miss three mass public shootings:
— Tours, France, October 29, 2001: four people were killed and 10 wounded when a French railway worker started killing people at a busy intersection in the city.
— Nanterre, France, March 27, 2002: a man kills eight city councilors after a city council meeting.
— Toulouse, France, March 19, 2012, Mohammed Merah killed four people (the killer also killed people in Montauban, France).
Other cases are missed in such countries as Austria, Belgium, Finland, Netherlands, Italy, Macedonia, Spain, Switzerland and Slovakia.
It takes a lot of time and effort to find all the cases, but if you get all the attacks in the U.S. and miss those in other countries, it makes the U.S. look a lot worse.
Another by Lankford reportedly goes back to 1966, but while he shares his study with reporters, he requires that they don’t share it with researchers in the area and, despite the wide publicity given his findings, he has repeatedly turned down requests by myself to see his research.
The president’s statement was also limited in another sense.  He was referring only to shootings in his statement, but bombs are frequently used elsewhere in the world.
The Boston Marathon bombing was a rare exception these days in the United States. But countries such as Russia have frequently suffered bombings. Indeed, since 2009, the nation has seen 1.31 deaths per million from bombings that caused four or more fatalities.
Between 2007 and 2011, there was an average of 6,282 terrorist attacks per year outside of Iraq, Afghanistan and the U.S. On average, more than 27,000 people were killed, injured or kidnapped each year.
Obama keeps using these attacks to advocate requiring background checks on private transfers of guns. Such a requirement, however, already exists in France and almost all of Europe.
The background checks failed. So, too, did France and Belgium’s complete bans on the weapons used in those attacks. The terrorists who attacked those countries still got the weapons that they wanted.
Of the people stopped by background checks, nearly all are people who should have been allowed to buy guns. These delays may be mere inconveniences for most people, but they can endanger the lives of people who are being stalked and need immediate protection.
There is another common factor between mass public shootings.  Virtually all of the attacks in America and Europe are taking place where general citizens can’t carry guns for protection. At some point, it has to become apparent to gun control advocates that gun-free zones only protect the killers.
Can Obama actually believe his claim that these attacks “just doesn’t happen in other countries”?  More likely, Obama is willing to go to any extreme as he pushes for European-type gun control.  The last thing he wants to admit is that countries with such strict gun-control laws can have so many deadly attacks.
