Watch: GOP Senator Torches Obama's Weakness On Russia

Image result for obama putin

There are those who continue to use the Russian collusion story as a crutch to avoid dealing with the reality that Hillary Clinton lost to Donald J. Trump in the 2016 election. Moreover, because of the collusion story and the borderline Russophobic hysteria that’s ensued since then, people think that Trump is weaker with Russia. He has to be, right? I mean Vladimir Putin helped him get elected, so say the delusional leftists. On Wednesday, at a Senate
Intelligence Committee hearing, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) aptly noted the differences between the two presidents when it comes to handling Russia, torching Obama, and rightfully so, for his weakness in confronting a nation that he thought was yesterday’s news. It’s very satisfying. In short, the Obama way of dealing with the Russians was either caving or letting them walk all over him, whether that be in Syria, Ukraine, or even during our own election.

President Trump has bombed Kahn Sheikhoun military base in Syria [I think he meant to say Shayrat air base; Kahn is the town that was hit by the chemical weapons attack]. He has shot down Syrian planes. He has shot down Iranian drones. Thereby Russia is unable to protect its two main clients in the Middle East. We’re on the verge of deploying more troops to Afghanistan where Russia has been meddling with ever-greater intensity in recent years. And we have finally proposed a budget that increases military spending, albeit, not enough, that accelerates ballistic missile defense. And our domestic agencies are doing everything they can to promote oil and gas production in the United States.

By contrast, President Obama famously pressed the reset button a few weeks into his tenure, six months after Russia invaded Georgia. He mocked Mitt Romney for calling Russia our number one geopolitical foe. He asked Dmitry Medvedev in a hot mic moment to wait until after the election to discuss missile defenses because he would have more flexibility. Despite bipartisan support in the Congress, President Obama refused to send lethal weapons to Ukraine. He stood idly by as Russia returned to the Middle East for the first time in 40 years, and he stood idly by, as we’ve heard today, in the 2016 election.

Ranking House Democrat On Intel Committee: Obama Fumbled The Ball On Russia

Image result for obama putin

Every day more and more Democrats are saying that President Obama fumbled the ball on the Russian meddling during the 2016 election. The Washington Post dropped a bombshell report that the Obama administration knew well in advance of Russia’s interference campaign, but hesitated on how to respond. It also pointed out that it seemed the Obama White House was afraid of Russia and what they would do if they reacted strongly. In the end, they booted a few suspected Russian operatives, closed a couple of their compounds, and enacted sanctions that had a de minimis effect. Russia views this as a slap on the wrist and Obama failed miserably in deterring similar action in the future. Yet, Obama did nothing when Russia annexed Ukraine and did nothing when Russia elbowed their way into Syria. They read him like a book and his reaction was no different in this instance. Liberals criticized Bush for him sitting while school children listened to a rendition of “The Pet Goat” when the nation was under attack on 9/11. Obama dropped the ball for weeks on how to respond to Russia.
On CBS’ Face The Nation last weekend, former acting CIA Director Michael Morell did say that Obama did a good job coordinating with other states to protect their voting systems, but ceded the battlefield to Vladimir Putin when he sat on this information. President Trump tweeted why there was no response from the Obama administration on Russia's meddling. There seems to be a rare moment of agreement between Trump and some congressional Democrats: Obama should have done more. Now, we have ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) saying that President Obama more or less fumbled the ball on Russia (via CNN):
The top Democrat on the House intelligence committee said Sunday he believed the Obama administration should have taken bolder action in response to intelligence reports about Russia's efforts to influence the 2016 election.

"I think the Obama administration should have done a lot more when it became clear that not only was Russia intervening, but it was being directed at the highest levels of the Kremlin," Rep. Adam Schiff said on CNN's "State of the Union."
Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) has also said President Obama should have done more with regards to Russian meddling.

Susan Rice Says She's A Victim of Racism And Sexism? Sorry Rice Playing The Race Card, Will Not Work Here

Image result for Susan Rice lied

Former national security adviser and UN ambassador Susan Rice refuses to go quietly into retirement, even though she remains one of the most controversial figures of the Obama Administration.

Now, thanks to a glowing profile in New York Magazine, we know that despite Susan Rice’s very public shortcomings  (whatever happened to that dastardly filmmaker who spurred violence across the Middle East, anyway?), she believes any criticism of her tenure is at least partly the result of racism and sexism.

When asked why she became a “target” in the Trump Administration, she replied, “I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this. What do you think?…I do not leap to the simple explanation that it’s only about race and gender. I’m trying to keep my theories to myself until I’m ready to come out with them. It’s not because I don’t have any.”

But, she goes on to imply, Trump—and the rest of his administration, for that matter —doesn’t seem to like people of her race and gender.

And she feels personally violated by the continued interest by Trump and others in her actions as both a National Security Adviser and as a diplomat. All of her major achievements —the non-binding Paris Climate Accord, the new relationship with Cuba, and the Iranian nuclear deal—have been walked back by Trump. And she thinks that’s a personal jab at her and not simply a new administration rolling back hastily made and ineffective policy.

Obama's Progressive Socialist Attempt to Destroy Private College Education in America

Image result for obama evil laugh

America doesn’t have an unemployment problem – it has an education and skilled worker problem.  Right now, there are millions of available jobs all around the country with top companies offering good pay and benefits. However, the problem for these potential employers is a lack of skilled or properly educated workers. This is a massive issue in America, which President Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos are working to address.

Recent figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show the number of potential jobs in America at an all-time high – roughly six million available jobs - but new hire rates are dropping. Why? Officials in Atlanta say while the construction industry in their city is booming, many companies and individual contractors cannot get skilled workers to fill much-needed positions. In Nevada County, California, contractors describe the labor shortage as “terrible”, an “enormous problem” that has now reached a “critical” shortage. Detroit Chamber of Commerce officials say they are losing a half a billion dollars a year in potential economic growth due to a lack of skilled workers in many job sectors.

The President and Secretary DeVos are working to resolve the skilled worker shortage by reviewing, and potentially, rolling back several onerous regulations that will allow private colleges to again flourish. Many private colleges and universities in America offer degrees for specific jobs that lead to careers in engineering, computer networking, the broader technology industry, aircraft or automotive repair, law enforcement, nursing, healthcare administration, etc.

During the Obama Administration, ultra-left education elites flooded into the Department of Education (ED) and engaged in aggressive campaigns to disparage private schools, their programs or their founders. Robert Shireman now with the Century Foundation, made many deliberately misleading accusations against private colleges. He was often joined by independent education policy "analyst" David Halperin and others in vehemently attacking private education. These dishonest allegations, coupled with bad policy regulations from the ED were orchestrated with the main goal of shutting down many private schools. During Obama’s reign, hundreds of private college campuses closed and thousands of students, including veterans, active duty military, women, and diverse groups of minority students, were kicked to the curb.  The liberal progressive left sincerely believed that unless the government was running education, as with healthcare, it had to be bad.
The President and Secretary DeVos have been under attack from this small but vocal band of education elitists since day one, but Sec. DeVos is already moving to strengthen private college education. She recently announced her intention to address one bad regulation known as the “Borrower Defense to Repayment” rule. This controversial rule allows students to stop paying their education loans if they think they have been defrauded in some way. And who pays the bill if a student walks away from his or her loan obligation – the taxpayer. This rule also allows ED to arbitrarily condemn schools without any defined process for appeal. TV ads by law firms enticing students to claim fraud and walk away from their loans were already running when Secretary DeVos correctly announced that ED was putting the brakes on this regulation while under review.

Shortly after taking office, President Trump issued a directive to the ED and other agencies to create and launch task force reviews of all regulations imposed during the Obama years. The defense to repayment regulation is one identified by ED as in need of serious overhaul. Another regulation is the arbitrary, “Gainful Employment” rule, which sets unrealistic standards for schools regarding how long graduates can take to find a job in their related field. We expect to see the ED’s recommendations regarding additional regulatory overhaul in just a few days.

The University “Composite Score” rating is another example of bad education policy that was deliberately crafted to attack private schools. The “Composite Score” is simply a formula designed by education bureaucrats with no experience in running a college to reveal the alleged financial health of a college. This is very similar to what financial institutions, especially small community banks, were experiencing with another dubious progressive leftist regulation by way of Dodd-Frank. A bad score of, “…not financially responsible” not only jeopardizes a school’s ability to attract students, it makes the school needlessly obtain a letter of credit and threatens the school’s ability to receive Title IV funding.

America needs skilled workers who graduate from public and private colleges with degrees that lead to good paying jobs and successful careers. Privately run colleges and universities fill an important void by producing qualified workers who can apply for jobs with the specific training and instruction needed to be successful.

The President’s plan to revive the job market and the economy along with Secretary DeVos’ leadership at ED are much needed first steps, but Congress needs to act as well. Once the ED’s reform priorities are made public, Congress should move to pass new laws to strengthen private education and help fill our skilled worker void. With the help of Congress, private colleges and Universities can bring an end to a skilled worker shortage that is hampering our economic recovery and limiting our nation’s ability to compete in a global market.

The amount of damage done by the eight years of Barack Obama bureaucratic progressive socialist policies are like a metastasizing cancer. It spread throughout every aspect of our system of governance from our economy, healthcare, and national security. But nowhere are these insidious regulatory exploits more dangerous than with the education of future Americans.

Activity' Seen At Syrian Base Where Chemical Attack Originated, Defense Officials Say?

Image result for Obama red line

The Pentagon is seeing new activity "associated with chemical weapons" at a Syrian aircraft hangar where a previous chemical attack on civilians is believed to have originated, multiple defense officials said Tuesday, hours after the White House issued its new warning to President Bashar Assad.
The hangar, at the Shayrat Air Base outside the city of Homs, is the same Assad regime base the U.S. military struck with 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles in early April.

“We have seen activity at Shayrat Airfield . . . associated with chemical weapons,” Capt. Jeff Davis said.
It’s not immediately clear what specific actions at the base prompted the White House statement, but Davis said the new activity began in the last few days and became more "compelling" in the last 24 hours.

Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous: Obamas Under Fire from the Left for Never-Ending, Ultra-luxury Vacations

Image result for Obama middle finger

The Democratic base is growing increasingly frustrated with former President Barack Obama’s actions after leaving office, including a seemingly endless tour of millionaire and billionaire luxury retreats, according to Democrats and activists contacted by Fox News.

Ex-presidents, understandably and un-controversially, go on vacations immediately after leaving office. But the level of luxury the Obamas enjoy on their vacations is unprecedented for a modern-day president, say travel experts.

Since leaving office in late January, Obama has visited late actor Marlon Brando’s private island; the Four Seasons in Bali -- where rooms cost upward of $2,000 per night; a Palm Springs estate; Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island; the exclusive Mid Pacific Country Club in Oahu; the 13th-century Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany; and the Rising Sun, Hollywood studio mogul David Geffen’s private yacht.

"These are some of the most luxurious travel destinations in the world. Many of our clients spend tens of thousands of dollars or more to stay at these resorts, which cater to the most discriminating and demanding guests,” said Kendra Thornton, travel expert and owner of luxury travel agency Royal Travel. “For example, Necker Island has a nightly price tag of $80,000. Anyone who stays at these properties does so because they want the best of the best."

ox News contacted the Borgo Finocchieto hotel. It’s actually not really a hotel, at least of the kind ordinary travelers come to expect. It’s a restored medieval hamlet with five villas and 22 bedrooms that can only be rented for a three-day minimum, in its entirety. Obama touched down at a nearby airport in a private jet escorted by six Eurofighter jets from the Italian Air Force. Presumably, the former president scored a deal on the stay since the Borgo Finocchieto is owned by one of his appointees, the former Italy Ambassador John Phillips.

New documents reveal Democrats urged Obama to respond to Russian hacking — but chose to do nothing for months

Image result for Obama putin

New documents revealed Friday that former President Barack Obama was urged by Democratic senators in late 2016 to take action against Russia for their apparent cyber meddling in the 2016 election, but failed to do so for weeks.

According to documents obtained by Operation 45, a pro-government transparency organization, Democratic Sens. Diane Feinstein (Calif.) and Ben Cardin (Md.) wrote to then-President Obama in Nov. 2016 urging him to take action against Russia for alleged election meddling.

“We are writing to urge a direct and proportionate response to the Russian Federation’s state-sponsored cyberattacks on the United States’ democratic institutions and the 2016 electoral process. Such attacks cannot be tolerated and the United States must take immediate measures to ensure that those responsible are held to account,” they wrote in a letter to Obama on Nov. 1.

The letter was released last Wednesday after Operation 45 submitted a Freedom of Information Act request.

The letter states that the Department of Homeland Security and the director of national intelligence became certain by Oct. 7 that Russian officials were behind the explosive document dumps by WikiLeaks that plagued Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

According to the letter, only the most senior Russian officials could have orchestrated the cyber meddling.

In response to the attack, Feinstein and Cardin wrote that the U.S. must act.
“A cyberattack on our electoral process or any part of our critical political, economic, or military infrastructure is a hostile action that must be countered,” they wrote.

The duo then suggested three courses of action: First, the duo urged the president to freeze the assets of those involved in the cyberattack. Second, they wrote that the U.S. should expand sanctions against Russia and finally they said the U.S. “should consider taking proportional cyber responses beyond sanctions that would shine a direct spotlight on those responsible for the cyberattacks.”

“The United States should make clear that there are costs to engaging in these sorts of cyberattacks, whether by Russia or any other actor,” they wrote.

It’s not clear what immediate actions Obama’s administration took in response to being pressed by members of Congress. However, the response the administration sent to Feinstein and Cardin may shine a light on how seriously the administration was or wasn’t taking the threat from Russia.
Julia Frifield, then the assistant secretary of state for legislative affairs, replied to both senators individually with the same response, telling them in part that the administration “shared” their concerns and had raised those concerns directly with the Russian government.

Frifield, in a short response letter, went on to reiterate the Obama administration’s policy toward cyber warfare.

“As we have made clear to the Russian government and others, we will not tolerate attempts to interfere with the U.S. Democratic process, and we will take action to protect our interests, including in cyberspace, and we will do so at a time and place of our choosing,” Frifield wrote on Obama’s behalf.

Frifield did not respond directly to suggestions that Feinstein and Cardin urged the administration to take.

It wasn’t until more than a month later that Obama would publicly order a full investigation into allegations that Russia meddled in the election. And it wasn’t until almost two months after Obama received the senators’ letter that he announced increased sanctions against Russia over the allegations.

Those two actions came at a time when the mainstream media was already grilling then-President-elect Trump, his campaign and transition team for alleged ties to Russia, despite the FBI saying in October that they had found zero evidence of ties between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
But in recent days, more officials are beginning to speak out about how the Obama administration likely dropped the ball on Russia.

Mike Morrell, who served as CIA director under Obama, said Sunday that Obama “failed miserably” in his response to Russia during an appearance on CBS “Face the Nation.”

Then Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), a top congressional Democrat, said Sunday it was a “very serious mistake” on Obama’s part to not take action against Russia earlier than he did. Schiff made his comments during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Obama Still Creating a Toxic Environment for Trump’s Policies at EPA, Think Progress deems iI “A Punitive … Assault On Science? Like Let Talk About “A Punitive Assault On Science ? Like Were The Science TO Prove Gender Identity?

Pay no attention to that man behind that curtain!” The Wizard of Oz had a good reason for trying to distract Dorothy when his true identity was revealed in the 1939 classic film. The last thing he wanted was for her to figure how things really operated.
Oz isn’t the only place where people are ignorant of who operates quietly in the shadows. The federal government is rife with people who do their jobs away from the spotlight, wielding a measure of influence that can even outweigh that of their bosses.
Take the Environmental Protection Agency. You may be aware that its current administrator is a man appointed by President Trump – Scott Pruitt. But there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of Francesca Grifo, the agency’s “Scientific Integrity Official.”
And frankly, that’s fine by Grifo. The less you know about her and many other unelected bureaucrats, the easier their jobs are. Especially because Grifo’s current job appears to be trying to subvert Pruitt’s.
Grifo was hired in 2013. Her position as “Scientific Integrity Official” grew out of President Obama’s stated goal to “restore science to its rightful place,” as he put it in his 2009 Inaugural address.
Like so many other titles and goals, it all sounds pretty harmless. But as Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberly Strassel recently pointed out, a political motive was at work. This was, she writes, Obama’s “way of warning Republicans that there’d be no more debate on climate change or other liberal environmental priorities.”
Grifo came to the agency from the far-left Union of Concerned Scientists, so you can imagine why she was selected. You can also imagine what her job boils down to now that Donald Trump is president: thwarting his agenda as much as possible.
Toward that end is a meeting she’ll be hosting soon with numerous groups to discuss ways to pursue “scientific integrity.” The initial guest list read like a “who’s who” of the liberal environmental movement: Earthjustice, Public Citizen, the Environmental Defense Fund, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Center for Progressive Reform, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, and yes, the Union of Concerned Scientists.

“This is a government employee using taxpayer funds to gather political activists on government grounds to plot — let’s not kid ourselves — ways to sabotage the Trump administration,” Strassel writes. (Since then, some conservative groups have been invited as well, but it took Strassel’s column to do it.)

It isn’t just disagreements over policy that fuels the behind-the-scenes activities of bureaucrats such as Francesca Grifo. They surely have their eyes on the budget cuts that the president has proposed to climate programs.
Climate Wire called his budget “a slap in the face.” To Scientific American, it’s a “slaughter.” Think Progress deems it “a punitive … assault on science, the environment, and indeed the planet.”
But as environmental experts Katie Tubb and Nicolas Loris point out in a piece for the Daily Signal, all this hyperventilating lacks context.
For one thing, some cuts to the federal government’s sizable climate budget are clearly in order: At least 18 agencies administer climate-change activities, to the tune of $77 billion between fiscal years 2008 and 2013.
There’s a lot of wasteful spending in there, such as $700,000 to a global-warming musical, and an EPA grant for “green” nail salon concepts in California. Moreover, Tubb and Loris note, most of the money goes to “green” tech rather than to science, wildlife or international aid. “Even after the president’s proposed cuts,” they write, “there is plenty of money left in the federal budget to study and model the climate.”
If President Trump wants to make any headway at the EPA and other federal agencies, he needs to do more than appoint good people to run them. He needs to make sure that the people behind the curtain aren’t working to undermine him.

It was only a matter of time before the wishful thinking of the progressive left, who celebrate the decapitation and assassination of President Donald Trump in comedy and ‘art’, manifested itself in real life.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who endorsed President Trump during last year’s presidential campaign, and has been a vocal backer of Trump’s travel ban, was shot in the hip and multiple Congressional aides were hit by a gunman with a rifle who opened fire at a baseball practice in Virginia Wednesday morning.

The gunman was shot by U.S. Capital Police, apprehended and taken to the hospital. Sen. Mike Lee told Fox News, however, the gunman was dead. Rep. Mo Brooks reportedly used a belt as a tourniquet to stop Scalise’s bleeding.
“Both @POTUS & @VP are aware of the developing situation in Virginia. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tweeted.
“Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., told Fox News he left just before the shooting. As he walked to his car, a man asked DeSantis if it was Republicans or Democrats practicing.
“About three minutes the shooting began, DeSantis said.
“The shooting began at 7:15 a.m. and lasted about 10 minutes, sources told Fox News.

Behind third base, I see a rifle…I hear Steve Scalise over near 2nd base scream,” Brooks told CNN.
“The shots were reported on East Monroe Street in Del Ray, Alexandria police said on Twitter at 7:30 a.m. The location was near a YMCA.
“Scalise, 51, is the House majority whip. He has represented Louisiana’s First Congressional District since 2008 and chairs the House Republican Study Committee. He is married with two children. Scalise’s district includes New Orleans.
“Since he’s in leadership, Scalise has a security detail.
“Scalise, who studied computer science at Louisiana State University, worked as a systems engineer before launching his political career. Scalise endorsed President Trump during last year’s presidential campaign, and has been a vocal backer of Trump’s travel ban. As leader of the powerful study group, he has also spearheaded the effort to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
“The Congressional Baseball Game is scheduled for June 15 at Nationals Park. The game, which has been a tradition since 1909, pits Senate and House members of each party who sport the uniform of their home state. The practice location is about 10 miles from Washington, D.C.”

The visceral hatred of the Democrats forced into exile by the election that made Donald Trump, has found its mark.

The visceral hatred of the Democrats forced into exile by the election that made Donald Trump America’s 45th duly elected president, has found its mark.
Seriously disgruntled Democrats, preparing for a Barack Obama ‘Summer of Resistance’ are, at least in spirit, advocating a corrosive hatred that is consuming America.
While the progressives, aided and abetted by the mainstream media, the entertainment industry and some Republicans have dominated the news cycle with a completely manufactured Russian/Trump campaign collusion conspiracy, innocents are now being shot at baseball practice.
In our lifetime, the saying is going from ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ to ‘Take Me Out AT the Ballgame.’
It’s high time for American citizens to demand authorities to STOP THE DEADLY PROGRESSIVE HATRED.
Shortly after the shooting Wednesday morning at a congressional baseball practice, Rep. Mark Walker (R-N.C.) told NBC News that it appeared the “gunman was there to kill as many Republican members as possible.” Walker, who was at the practice for the upcoming annual congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, confirmed he was “shaken but okay.”
Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) recounted an “odd” encounter he had as he was leaving the field just minutes before the shooting: “There was a guy that walked up to us that was asking whether it was Republicans or Democrats out there, and it was just a little odd,” DeSantis told Fox News.
