HOLLYWOOD, CA, April 4, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The proposed $2.1 million true crime film about the life of abortionist and serial killer Kermit Gosnell just got a gargantuan boost of strength. Hollywood's Kevin Sorbo, known for playing Hercules and more recently starring in the breakout hitGod is Not Dead, has made a video asking people to help bring the story of the “house of horrors” murderer to the screen in living color.
Sorbo and his wife, Sam, said the media blackout of the horrific murders and filthy conditions of Gosnell's facilities spurred them to action.
“He delivered live, viable babies who cried and fought for their life before he murdered them by severing their spinal cord with his scissors,” the actor said. “He called it 'snipping.'”
The couple then read pages from the grand jury report. The trial itself, however, drew little media attention.
“This story has had almost no media coverage, because the media are so agenda-driven they don't want to talk about it,” Kevin Sorbo said. “Nobody wants to talk about it, because the details are too damaging to certain political agendas.”
They encouraged viewers to support Phelim McAleer and Anne McElhinney, Irish journalists looking to create a made-for-TV movie along the lines of a CSI episode.
The movie, Sam said, “will be a visual testament to the short life and gruesome death of Baby Boy A and all the other babies Gosnell killed.”
The couple pointed people to the journalists' Indiegogo.com crowdfunding page.

Sam told entertainment media that Gosnell “is a man who seemed to enjoy protection under the law because abortion is such a political issue that they refused to investigate him for years even though there were complaints for decades.”
